Patient rooms are spaces for both rest and treatment; they require technical equipment that always focuses on people and healing processes. A pleasant ambience and trouble-free procedures in the daytime are therefore just as important as peace and quiet and adequate orientation at night. The combination of demand-based automation and high-quality lighting enables the effective implementation of both.
Solution
Human Centric Lighting, night mode and orientation light
By providing dynamic Human Centric Lighting, the COMPACT APC30 HCL DALI-2 presence detector improves patient wellbeing, sleep quality and recovery. At the same time, the presence- and daylight-dependent light control offered by the integrated SymbiLogic technology ensures energy-efficient implementation.
At night time, safety is ensured by a gentle, time-controlled orientation light. While activated, night mode also limits the illuminance to a lower level if someone gets up to use the bathroom – allowing other patients to carry on sleeping in peace. If healthcare professionals require increased light output quickly, it can be easily switched to 100 % using the emergency button.
